"Where do I begin? Perhaps at the beginning.
Over the years my husband and I would run into you at open houses in the neighborhood. We were very impressed and decided years ago that if we ever listed our house it would be with that lovely, friendly lady.

"Jennie, I am sending you this email to thank you for making the sale of my house as painless as possible. As a result of some deferred maintenance issues, I delayed listing my house with you until those repairs were made. I was about to go on an extended vacation and you advised me of the timing of listing my house and that I should take advantage of the fact that a potential buyer might want to close escrow prior to the start of the new school year. "It is with great pleasure I am writing you about Jennie Manders and her recent handling of my folks, Robert & Marilyn, transaction.
