Jennie began her real estate career in 1983 as a "traditional" realtor. She represented both buyers and sellers in Glendale, Burbank, La Crescenta, La Canada, Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Arcadia and Monrovia. Jennie sold homes, condominiums, townhomes, estate property and apartment buildings in those communities.

Her first transaction in 1983 involved a loan at 19%. It was a buyers market with many homes on the market and fewer buyers willing to purchase a property at those interest rates. However, Jennie knew from the beginning that there were people experiencing all kinds of life changes that still needed to buy and sell. With her positive attitude and service mentality, in her very first year she became a multi-million dollar producer.

While conducting her real estate business, Jennie became aware that even though the traditional realtor may legally represent both the buyer and seller in the same transaction, she felt that this potentially created a conflict of interest.

In 1991, Jennie made the business decision to separate the functions and to exclusively represent sellers. She hired her first Buyers Specialist and worked to make her clients aware of the uniqueness of the team with improved service to her clients based on their individualized needs.

The motivating reason for Jennie in making this move was the desire to specialize and allow her clients to receive a more personalized level of service.
